Our History

GILMAR Automotive Group was formed by Mark Gutierrez in 2014. Mark wanted the company to be family-inspired and operated, so he named it after his parents, Gilbert and Marguerite Gutierrez. With the help of his children, Christopher Gutierrez (Broker), Kristine Gutierrez (Broker), and his mother, Marge Gutierrez (Controller), the company holds true to upholding honest, family values. 

Mark began in the automobile business with no experience in 2003 selling cars. After his first year, he was recognized as the top performer in the western region for his brand. He progressed into an Internet Sales Position, Internet Sales Manager, Fleet Manager, Sales Manager and General Sales Manager for Cadillac, BMW and Audi automobiles. It was Mark’s passion for cars that he attributed to his success, but he quickly recognized it was really the client that made him successful. He believed in always treating the client the way he would want to be treated and you will have a client for life. Mark upholds to the same philosophy with GILMAR Automotive Group, giving the client complete, honest, and fair treatment. His years of experience in the business have given him the knowledge to know exactly where the dealer profit margins are, accounting for dealer incentives from the factory, customer incentives, rebates, interest rates and money factors. When there is money to be saved, Mark and GILMAR Automotive Group will get it for you.
